Glenn County hosting vaccine clinics

Glenn County Public Health will be hosting two vaccine clinics in collaboration with Northern Valley Indian Health and Tri Counties Community Action Partnership.

The vaccine clinics will offer the COVID-19 vaccine to all eligible individuals. Both doses are being offered as well as the booster vaccine. According to Nip Boyes, a nurse practitioner at Glenn County Public Health, appointments for the first clinic are filling up quickly.

Anyone who would like to schedule an appointment can call 1-855-268-2227. Walk-ins for the vaccinations will only be accepted between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at both clinics.

The first clinic is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. today at the Glenn County Fairgrounds in the Whitsett Cook building at 221 E. Yolo St. in Orland.

The second clinic is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Nov. 17 at Willows Memorial Hall at 525 West Sycamore St. in Willows.
