Helena loves Duarte, but in three days he is going to marry her sister, Belmira. Then village fishermen pull a handsome, mysterious stranger out of the Amazon—a man with no past, but with a tantalizing future to offer the two sisters. Upon premiering in Ashland at the 2016 Shakespeare Festival, this play, by Marisela Treviño Orta, garnered a review by the Siskiyou Daily calling it “a hauntingly and beautifully constructed theatrical experience.”
