CSU, Chico Choral Ensembles to Perform in ‘A Garland of Song,’ April 28
The CSU, Chico Acappella Choir, University Chorus, Chamber Singers, and Wildcat Singers present their spring concert, “A Garland of Song,” featuring contemporary works of some of the best composers from the late 20th century and today. Daun Weiss will conduct the University Chorus, a mix of community members and CSU, Chico students. Dr. David Scholz will conduct the Acappella Choir and Chamber Singers.
“It’s been a real joy to work with the singers in the choirs this semester,” said Scholz. This is a particularly strong senior class, and I’ll be sorry to see them move on. But I’ve been privileged to work with them for the past 4 years.”
“A Garland of Song” will take place on Saturday, April 28th at 7:30pm in Harlen Adams Theatre, Performing Arts Center, CSU, Chico.
